It is beyond me why we choose to live
In this world of chrome and neon lights
A place so full of anger of danger of hate
And hypocritical happiness and sleepless nights
Asylums filling up with people too scared
To give this melancholy life a chance
Medical books fill up with more possibilities
It might be a mental illness now, just to take a stance
Sure it’s easy to ignore these lifestyles
of people who don’t do what you say
But, darling, look around you at this chaos of life
It isn’t up to you today
You can’t stop them
You can’t save them
All you can do, is not be them
