Just a Guy

My friends, they say
He’s just a guy
But every day
I wonder why

When I see him walk by
And he doesn’t look black
I just want to cry
All colors turn to black

I find my self lost in a dream
Of this boy that makes me smile
But then again it’s all a dream
And it’s over in a while

I no he’ll never like me
And I could never be his girl
But I long to make him see
That he is my entire world

So I will continue to love him
Even though he doesn’t care
Because if someone ever hurts him
He should know I will be there
